CHINA FOCUS TOUR - 2010 - XI'AN AREA

Xi'an was the second city we visited. It is the capital of Shaanxi Province and was the capital of China over many dynasties. Xi'an is probably most famous for its army of Terracotta Warriors and Horses but, the city has many other interesting and photogenic locations. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the restored City Walls are but two of the interesting sites. I was not able to visit the Muslim Night Market or the Bell Tower at night which I consider a great loss...

We visited the Tang Dynasty Song and Dance Show which was beautiful and very well done. The show allows (non-flash) photography and I was lucky to get the best seat in the house for that purpose.
